I went to my very first purse party yesterday. I bought a matching Kate Spade purse and wallet. :) It is wonderful.  Geoff's parents are here this weekend to help Sarah move back in to Butler. We'll be hanging out with the later. So I know this entry is going to be kinda pointless, but I just wanted to attempt to get back in the groove of doing this.

Hello Live Journal world! 

I haven't posted in a while, and for some reason, I just felt like it today. It won't be a lot though. 

Classes are going well. I'm doing way better in the journalism department than I ever could have been when I was in the Business Department. And I actually like my Professors, too! 

I work all the time. Or I am at class all the time. And when I'm free, I try to spend it with Geoff. 

Weird that I only have one more semester left of college. WOW! I still need to find an internship. I just don't know what I want to do. Anyone have ideas?

Maybe more updates to come since I don't think I will be too busy for December and January! YAY!

SURPRISE! A post from me! : )

I haven't been around a computer or the internet for quite some time now that Geoff and I are in our apartment now. We haven't gotten cable yet, so no internet yet. BUT SOMEDAY we will! I'm just more focused on being able to pay for rent, my class, and just living. :(

It's been a good summer though so far. My brother got married, been to a few hot air rising shows, went camping, hung out with some awesome people, and concerts to come! Jack's Mannequin and OAR on July 13th, and then we want to go see the Black Crowes. I think it is in August. I'd go to more concerts, but I don't have the money to do that. Guster is playing the night of a Hot Air Rising show. :( I would probably pay to go to that concert, but Geoff won't be able to go, and I know he'd really like to go see them.

Hot Air Rising did move into the second round of Battle at Birdy's! THey play October 20th. SO BE THERE! :) There was a good crowd that night, but I know it can be better! I'm going to Birdy's again this weekend to see Stereo Deluxe, Virgin Millionaires, and the Last. That's really about the extent of my life so far this summer. Nothing too much more exciting than that.

Summer has been busy! I thought it was supposed to be a break? haha! Oh well, I'm still having fun. I'm working at Longhorn, Soprano's, and Kroger. I gotta get the money in this summer since I'm living off campus this year. We should be in our apartment by Tuesday or so. : ) WOO! Any one have a couch LET ME KNOW!

I finally asked my mom if I could live with Geoff in an apartment. She replied with: "You are an adult!"
I take it as a yes, that I can make my own decisions. I think she just wants me to make sure Geoff and I are going to be able to get along okay. Which I know we will.

I'm very nervous for the Greek Week events tonight. Cart Race, Wheel Barrel Race, and Milk Chug... I'm in ALL THREE! Man... It is going to be a long day until then!

I'm still looking at picking up shifts this week at Long Horn because I need to make some money!
I think Dayna MIGHT be giving me her shift on Wednesday, which would be wonderful, because I'll be able to work, and I won't have to stay REAL late either. Or atleast I shouldn't have to stay real late. Just late enough to make some cash. I also have a couple books I want to sell back to the bookstore, too, just so I can get some cash that way. Any other ideas on how to make some quick cash? I feel like even if I make money, none of it is mine, because I owe my parents money, I am going to have a kohls bill coming soon, OAR concert ticket that crystal bought, and I owe Pi Phi like $15 for shirts. SO NONE OF THIS MONEY REALLY IS MINE. I just want like $20 to spend this weekend for just me though. Is that so much to ask? I DON'T THINK SO!

Well I got out of class early, because my partner wasn't there, so I'm gonna go shower, and work on my homework now. Buh-Bye!

BUSY WEEK AHEAD OF ME! BLAH!

Lips for Literacy was last night. It was interesting. Minus seeing man junk a lot and it being so hot in Custer. I had my one class of the day today, and now I don't really have anything to do until work at 5:30 at longhorn. I think Geoff might be coming home from his internship today cause I don't think the people showed up, so maybe we will get to hang out before I go to work. We've needed to do some grocery shopping. It is a HOT and STEAMY day today though, I wouldn't mind going to the canal or something, but it is probably too hot and I would complain once I got there. I just want it to be 72. I never asked for it to be HOT. 

So the schedule for this CRAZY weekend:
Friday: longhorn at 5:30 - late
Saturday: Kristy's Bridal shower @ 1, and then Muncie to see hot air rising after
Sunday: Easter Breakfast @ 9am and then longhorn at 11:30 and then STUDY all night. 

doesn't leave much for a fun weekend now does it? hopefully i can make up for that next week and weekend : ) 

wow! it is gorgeous outside! i'm getting ready to go sit outside of old main and wait for class to start, just because i can. and then i have one class, and then hopefully going to the park or doing something outside atleast! : ) Then I have RVS, but CAIN loves going outside, especially cause we are having a discussion today so I know we'll probably make a trip outside which is just wonderful to me. Then I will be headed to girls inc. at 3, and I'm sure we'll be outside today because you can't keep girls that age inside on such a nice day! Then I might stop by Habifest, and then it will be time for lips for literacy. WOO! So I'm pretty sure I won't make it back to my room at all today, but that's okay. I'll live.
